TO ALL QUALIFIED ELECTORS IN THE CITY OF BAD AXE

Notice is hereby given under authority granted in Public Act 81 of 2023, that the location of the early voting site for all federal and statewide election dates will be the following:

Wilcox Park
650 Whitelam Street
Bad Axe, MI 48413

All qualified electors in the City of Bad Axe have the right to mark a ballot and deposit the ballot in a tabulator beginning the second Saturday before an election and ending the Sunday before an election. Early voting will be available at the early voting site for the following hours.

When & How to Register:

To become a registered voter, you must:

  • Be 18 years of age by the next election date

  • Be a citizen of the United States

  • Resident of Michigan

  • Resident of City of Township where you are applying to register to vote

The City of Bad Axe participates in the State-wide QVF system and the City’s voting records are available from this system.  From there you can do the following:

  • Determine if you are registered to vote

INTERESTED IN A POSITION TO BE AN ELECTION WORKER? PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR AN APPLICATION.

  • Election Inspectors, i.e. poll workers, are hired, paid, and trained local government workers who assist with running local elections in compliance with Michigan Election Law

  • Each county, city, and township in Michigan hires and pays election inspectors for the early voting period and on Election Day

  • Election Inspectors may be assigned different responsibilities

  • At a polling place or early voting site, election inspectors greet and check-in voters, issue ballots, and assist with tabulation. Individuals may also be hired to assist with processing absentee ballots
